Adgile has a special leadership position that is unlike any other Creative Director position that exists in the market today.

Adgile is a software service, not an agency or an ad network.  Adgile’s software combines our proprietary real-time media buying platform with a creative crowd marketplace that aligns advertisers and creatives to make the delivery of highly effective ad campaigns easy for advertisers and rewarding for creatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage creative crowd marketplace
  • Act as chief evangelist and advocate for creative talent in our crowd marketplace
  • Create education programs on online advertising best practices for creative talent and advertisers (e.g. creative briefs, direct response vs branding, copy writing, design, testing)
  • Liaison with software product managers and Engineering on feature requests and product roadmap
  • Lead Adgile’s own branding initiatives
  • Manage team of Associate Creative Directors

Key Characteristics:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in online advertising.  At least 2 years as a Creative Director.
  • Customer obsessed
  • Expected to drive innovation and invention from your team and always find ways to simplify.
  • Externally aware, look for new ideas from everywhere, and are not limited by “not invented here”. As we do new things, we accept that we may be misunderstood for long periods of time.
  • Develop leaders and take seriously your role in coaching others.
  • Create and communicate a bold direction that inspires results. Think differently and look around corners for ways to serve customers.
  • Vocally self critical.  Comes forward with problems or information, even when doing so is awkward or embarrassing. You will benchmark yourself and your teams against the best.
  • Operate at all levels, stay connected to the details and audit frequently. No task is beneath you.
  • Have backbone; Disagree and commit.  Obligated to respectfully challenge decisions when you disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable or exhausting. You have conviction and are tenacious. You do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion. Once a decision is determined, you commit wholly.
  • Deliver Results. Despite setbacks, you rise to the occasion and never settle.
